Rosemary Needham

International Cordon Bleu Cookery Demonstrator

About

Rosemary Needham trained at the Cordon Bleu School, Winkfield Place, where her tutor was the School’s principal, Rosemary Hume. After obtaining her diploma Rosemary spent six months in South Africa teaching at Cape Town’s renowned Silwood Kitchen and has happy memories of teaching the cooks who worked in Cape Town’s ministerial houses. “They represented a wide cross section of races and cultures and, in fact, taught me as much as I taught them!” says Rosemary. On returning home, Rosemary taught at Evendine Court, Colwall, for two years. After this she married Mark and started work as a freelance cook and demonstrator. As her two children grew up she decided to put the large family kitchen to work in response to the growing interest in cooking and good food. The kitchen is now home for her demonstrations and a place to create the home cooked food which she prepares for functions of all shapes and sizes. Rosemary has also appeared on television in programmes and adverts.Rosemary is available for charity cookery demonstrations. Rosemary is also available to cook for certain occasions.

Cookery Demonstrations

Rosemary has been demonstrating since 1970 and since then has demonstrated all over this country as well as in other countries in the world. She chooses dishes which are not only tasty and that look impressive but are also simple, once you have been shown how. Rosemary can choose seasonal dishes or recipes on a theme such as delicious dinner party menus or quick and easy cooking for family. She will provide a recipe sheet for everyone to scribble down notes during the demonstration and to take away.

Charity Cookery Demonstrations

Rosemary has raised a considerable amount of money for a wide variety of charities over the years. The organisers of the charity demonstrations find that these fund raising events are very popular with all ages and both males and females. All you need to do is find a suitable venue which has use of chairs, a few tables for Rosemary to demonstrate from, access to drinking water then sell the tickets. Rosemary will bring a surprisingly well stocked kitchen to the chosen venue and demonstrate a range of different dishes which are easy to replicate as well as being mouth-wateringly gorgeous. In the majority of charity demonstrations the food Rosemary has produced is then raffled or auctioned off to make more profit for the charity.

Cookery Demonstrations for Groups

It is also possible for Rosemary to conduct a cookery demonstration that you have organised. This would allow you to have an exclusive demonstration with you and your friends as well as having an input into the recipes that Rosemary would demonstrate.

What our clients think….

…”It is now three weeks since my lunch, and this morning I have received yet another card of thanks and compliments about the luncheon”…”So many of my friends and family have said how much they enjoyed the day and that the menu was so good. I have also had a number of phonecalls expressing thanks for the day – the food – the service – the setting – the way the tables were set and how much effort must have gone into the organisation to make the lunch so memorable.”… “I can only add my appreciation of the courtesy and kindness in the way you dealt with my demands, to say that you scored 10 out of 10 would be very much and somewhat of an understatement.”…”One remark was that the day had that ‘WOW’ factor which is very rarely achieved.”
